2. Information and purposes
Name, phone number, email address, product name/code, city/district, service address, fault description and optional photos or videos, including sound, are used for preliminary assessment, selecting the appropriate service provider, arranging contact or an appointment, and handling warranty or maintenance requests. The source page, IP address, date/time and browser information are added for request security and routing.
Information directly related to the product/service relationship is processed under KVKK Article 5(2)(c); applicable after-sales legal obligations under Article 5(2)(ç); necessary evidence in a dispute under Article 5(2)(e); and technical security under the legitimate-interest condition in Article 5(2)(f), subject to your fundamental rights. Photos and videos are optional. Not attaching them does not, by itself, cause a service request to be rejected.
3. Photos, videos and service address
Show only the product and the affected area. Avoid unnecessary speech or third-party audio in videos, faces, children, identity documents, health information, unrelated parts of a home and other people’s documents. You may crop or edit a file to include only the necessary part. Original files may contain device or location metadata; remove it when unnecessary. Images are re-encoded when email attachments are prepared, removing EXIF/location metadata. Videos are attached without re-encoding and may retain device or location metadata. TESKA separates unnecessary or unrelated content from request records. Your service address is used to arrange service, not as a marketing address. General enquiries can also be used for issues that can be resolved remotely.
4. Recipients
The relevant TESKA after-sales staff and the authorised service provider assigned to the request receive only information needed for their task. Requests are not broadcast to all service points. Necessary records may be shared with competent authorities and legal advisers for warranty disputes, audits or lawful requests.
Website hosting and corporate email services are provided in Türkiye. Your request is processed, to the extent required for the task, by relevant TESKA departments and hosting, email and technical support providers in Türkiye. Information is disclosed to competent public authorities and courts only to the extent legally required. Contracted service providers’ access is limited by their duties and confidentiality obligations.
Optional Google Analytics measurement may involve processing outside Türkiye, depending on your choice. Its purposes, recipients and preference controls are described in the Cookie Policy. Submitting a form does not constitute permission for analytics or advertising. For regular international transfers, the applicable conditions under Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) must be satisfied separately; cookie consent does not replace those conditions.
5. Collection and retention
Data is obtained from forms, email, telephone request records and service documents. Attachments are not published on the website; they are sent with the request to authorised recipients. The web application does not maintain a permanent archive of messages or attachments. Temporary upload files are removed at the end of the request. Copies in the email system and authorised recipients’ mailboxes remain subject to the retention criteria below.
Records needed to assess and resolve a request are retained while the relevant purpose continues. Further retention after a transaction is completed is assessed against an applicable legal obligation or the need to establish, exercise or defend a specific right. The same retention period is not automatically applied to every message and attachment. Unnecessary copies, irrelevant attachments and records whose purpose has ended enter a deletion, destruction or anonymisation process. Access to records retained for an ongoing dispute is restricted.
Specific cookie and preference-record periods are stated in the Cookie Policy. You may use the personal data request channels to ask about the retention criteria applicable to your records.
6. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; and learn the recipients in Türkiye or abroad. You may request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and notification of these actions to third parties to whom the data was transferred. You may object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Request channels and time limits are explained on the Data Subject Request page. Withdrawal of consent does not retroactively invalidate processing lawfully carried out on the basis of that consent before withdrawal.
