2. Information, purposes and legal bases
Your name, email address, optional phone number, chosen subject and message are processed to assess the request, direct it to the appropriate team and reply. Requests directly related to entering into or performing a product or service contract rely on KVKK Article 5(2)(c). General questions and suggestions rely on the legitimate interest of maintaining customer communication under Article 5(2)(f), provided your fundamental rights are not harmed. Records necessary to meet legal obligations are assessed under Article 5(2)(ç); records needed to establish or defend a specific right under Article 5(2)(e).
The source page, server date and time, IP address and browser information are added to investigate false requests, resolve routing errors and trace the origin of a submission, within the limits of necessity and proportionality.
3. Collection, required fields and marketing
Information is obtained through the web form, direct email, the relevant request record of a phone conversation, or a written request. Required fields are needed to receive the enquiry; a phone number is optional on the general contact form. Missing contact details may prevent a reply. Sending the form is not permission for marketing, newsletter membership or advertising profiling. Blanket consent is not required for a request that has another valid processing basis. Only share third-party information that is necessary and that you are authorised to provide; TESKA remains responsible for its own transparency and lawful-processing obligations.
4. Recipients and retention
Website hosting and corporate email services are provided in Türkiye. Your request is processed, to the extent required for the task, by relevant TESKA departments and hosting, email and technical support providers in Türkiye. Information is disclosed to competent public authorities and courts only to the extent legally required. Contracted service providers’ access is limited by their duties and confidentiality obligations.
Optional Google Analytics measurement may involve processing outside Türkiye, depending on your choice. Its purposes, recipients and preference controls are described in the Cookie Policy. Submitting a form does not constitute permission for analytics or advertising. For regular international transfers, the applicable conditions under Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) must be satisfied separately; cookie consent does not replace those conditions.
Records needed to assess and resolve a request are retained while the relevant purpose continues. Further retention after a transaction is completed is assessed against an applicable legal obligation or the need to establish, exercise or defend a specific right. The same retention period is not automatically applied to every message and attachment. Unnecessary copies, irrelevant attachments and records whose purpose has ended enter a deletion, destruction or anonymisation process. Access to records retained for an ongoing dispute is restricted.
Specific cookie and preference-record periods are stated in the Cookie Policy. You may use the personal data request channels to ask about the retention criteria applicable to your records.
5. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; and learn the recipients in Türkiye or abroad. You may request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and notification of these actions to third parties to whom the data was transferred. You may object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Request channels and time limits are explained on the Data Subject Request page. Withdrawal of consent does not retroactively invalidate processing lawfully carried out on the basis of that consent before withdrawal.
