This notice explains cookies, similar browser-storage records and measurement tags used on www.teska.com. Cookies store small records on your device; pixels and tags may transmit technical and interaction information when connected. Not using a cookie does not necessarily mean a technology processes no personal data.
2. Your choices
Optional categories start switched off. Choose Settings, Reject or Accept. In Settings, select categories and choose Save my choices. You may select categories separately and later withdraw consent. Rejecting optional tools does not prevent access to products or service requests. Cookie preferences are always available in the footer. Changing preferences stops the relevant new transmissions; it does not automatically retrieve data already sent. Use browser or provider-account settings to clear other cookies. If storage is blocked, a preference may be remembered only for the current page; other devices and browsers require separate choices.
3. Essential records
| Record | Purpose / provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| teska_privacy_en_v1 (local storage) | TESKA: category choices, date, notice version and a random preference receipt. Not an advertising identifier. | 180 days from the choice, then a new choice is requested. |
| TESKASESSID (session cookie) | TESKA: form security and CSRF validation; created when the form connects. | Browser session, also subject to server session policy. |
| Preference receipt (server) | TESKA: records the date, categories and notice version; excludes form content and advertising profiles. | 180 days, followed by automatic cleanup. |
These processes rely on KVKK Article 5(2)(ç) for respecting your preferences and meeting data-security obligations, Article 5(2)(e) where necessary to protect a right, and Article 5(2)(f) for secure service delivery. Essential records are not used for marketing.
4. Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only if the analytics category is permitted, to measure visited pages and aggregate usage patterns. Google may process browser/device details, the connection’s IP address and page/event information. TESKA does not include form fields, service attachments or your email address in Analytics events. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are switched off in this site’s code.
First-party records include _ga and _ga_… for browser identification and session continuity. The site sets a 180-day duration and disables automatic expiry renewal on every visit. Google account settings and browser restrictions also affect storage. See Google’s privacy policy and Analytics cookie information.
5. Advertising measurement
No Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag identifier is configured in this English edition. Selecting the advertising category alone does not load an unconfigured provider. If advertising measurement is added, the provider, identifiers, purposes and relevant retention periods will be disclosed and the preference version updated before any new consent-based use starts. Social-profile and sharing links are separate from advertising tags.
6. Maps, video and sharing links
Google Maps on the contact page loads when that page opens, connecting to Google. YouTube videos open when you click play. Google may receive IP and device information and use its own identifiers when these contents load. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain does not, by itself, eliminate all data transfers. Social sharing buttons do not load a provider SDK before they are clicked.
7. Legal basis and transfers abroad
Optional analytics relies on explicit consent under KVKK Article 5(1). Google’s infrastructure outside Türkiye may involve an international transfer. The transfer arrangements required by Article 9 must be satisfied separately; the actual contracting entity, recipients and onward transfers must be considered with the service agreement. A cookie choice is not unlimited permission to transfer data to every country for every purpose. Notices and preference versions are updated before adding a new provider or purpose; earlier consent does not automatically extend to new purposes.
8. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; and learn the recipients in Türkiye or abroad. You may request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and notification of these actions to third parties to whom the data was transferred. You may object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Request channels and time limits are explained on the Data Subject Request page. Withdrawal of consent does not retroactively invalidate processing lawfully carried out on the basis of that consent before withdrawal.
