Personal data requests: insankaynaklari@teska.com.tr
Registered electronic mail (KEP): teskaarmatur@hs02.kep.tr
2. How to apply
You may deliver or post a signed written request to the company address; using a notary is not mandatory. You may also use legally accepted methods including registered electronic mail (KEP), a secure electronic signature, a mobile signature, or an email address previously provided to TESKA and registered in our system. Send email to insankaynaklari@teska.com.tr or KEP to teskaarmatur@hs02.kep.tr. Using the subject “Personal data request” helps routing. Not using a particular template does not, by itself, invalidate a request. Necessary and proportionate additional information may be requested to verify identity; do not send identity documents for ordinary product enquiries.
3. Required information
Include your full name; signature for written requests; Turkish identity number for Turkish citizens; nationality and passport number, or identity number if available, for foreign nationals; residential/business address for notification; any email, phone/fax details for notification; and your request. Include relevant explanatory information and documents when the request concerns a particular processing activity. An authorised representative’s authority is verified. Verification is appropriate to the request rather than automatically demanding a complete identity card or sensitive document. Do not share unnecessary personal information.
4. Response and complaints
Requests under the KVKK are concluded as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature. Requests are normally free; where extra costs arise, only the fee in the Board’s tariff may be charged. A fee is refunded if the request resulted from the company’s error. If a request is refused, the response is inadequate or no response is provided on time, you may complain to the Board within thirty days of learning the response and, in all cases, within sixty days of the application. Judicial remedies and compensation rights remain available. Where the GDPR applies, its time limits and competent supervisory-authority route are assessed separately.
5. Processing request information
Identity/verification, contact, request and response records are processed under KVKK Article 5(2)(ç), and Article 5(2)(e) where necessary, to assess the request, respond securely and document legal obligations. Access is limited to relevant TESKA departments, legal advisers where needed and competent authorities. Requests are not added to advertising lists.
Records needed to assess and resolve a request are retained while the relevant purpose continues. Further retention after a transaction is completed is assessed against an applicable legal obligation or the need to establish, exercise or defend a specific right. The same retention period is not automatically applied to every message and attachment. Unnecessary copies, irrelevant attachments and records whose purpose has ended enter a deletion, destruction or anonymisation process. Access to records retained for an ongoing dispute is restricted.
Specific cookie and preference-record periods are stated in the Cookie Policy. You may use the personal data request channels to ask about the retention criteria applicable to your records.
6. Scope of your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; and learn the recipients in Türkiye or abroad. You may request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and notification of these actions to third parties to whom the data was transferred. You may object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Request channels and time limits are explained on the Data Subject Request page. Withdrawal of consent does not retroactively invalidate processing lawfully carried out on the basis of that consent before withdrawal.
