TR 1. Scope and approach
TESKA Armatür San. ve Tic. A.Ş. adopts the principle of considering environmental effects during design, supply, manufacture, use and after-sales support. This policy describes operating principles and a direction for improvement; it is not a claim of measured savings, zero waste, carbon neutrality or certification for every product.
2. Water, energy and materials
Water flow appropriate to the intended use, maintainability and a long functional life are part of product design evaluation. Product-specific flow or savings claims should identify the test conditions and comparison basis. A feature of one model is not generalised to all TESKA products. We aim to assess opportunities to reduce unnecessary water, energy, raw-material and packaging consumption in production and support, and to support product life through maintenance, repairs and spare parts.
3. Waste and pollution prevention
Applicable environmental legislation, permits and obligations for each facility and activity are the basis for operations. Principles include separate collection by waste type, appropriate storage and delivery to authorised channels, and process-based assessment of chemical, emission and wastewater risks. End-of-life products and packaging should follow local collection and recycling rules.
4. Supply and responsibility
Supplier selection considers technical suitability together with regulatory compliance and resource-use information. Employees are encouraged to understand environmental risks within their duties and suggest improvements. Targets are set in light of actual impacts and available resources.
5. Verifiable communication
Environmental claims should be clear, specific and supported. Certificates must be considered with their dates, issuing organisation and facility/product scope. General terms such as “environmentally friendly” or “green” cannot replace an explanation of the relevant impact. This policy does not claim percentages or achievements unverified by measurement.
